Popsicle Typography
This project began as a personal business card during an experimental graphic design course because I always loved experimenting with food, especially ice cream.
The concept was to have my first name on a popsicle while the wooden sticks were wood burned with my website so when the person would finish the popsicle, my website would be revealed as a business card.
Art Block cafe
One of my earlier teaching moments was when the advanced graphic design classes at ICA had a semester long project to develop branding for their own cafe that would launch during open house.
I worked with a group of 4-5 students to conceptualize the presentation of the overall cafe and we also created these branded popsicles.
Graphic Design workshops at
Inner-City Arts
For years, I worked with high school students in the graphic design classes at Inner-City Arts. I eventually lead several popsicle making workshops where I walked students through the process of experimenting with typography and getting very tactical in graphic design.
